Origin

High in the mountains of Espírito Santo, the mountains shelter a discreet setting where coffee flourishes gracefully. Bathed in a light mist from the ocean and cradled by a benevolent humidity, this generous land gives birth to exceptional Arabicas, luminous and delicately tangy.

The altitude and temperate climate afford coffee cherries the luxury of time: they ripen slowly, silently developing a rare aromatic richness. Here, the farms, often family-run and modest in size, carefully cultivate a diversity of varieties, combining ancestral know-how with forward-looking gestures.

In Espírito Santo, the quest for quality takes precedence over volume. Day after day, the terroir creates coffees imbued with elegance, reflecting the intimate and authentic rolling landscapes.

Notes and process

In the Brazilian mountains of Espirito Santo, coffee takes its time to ripen. At an altitude of 900 to 1,500 meters, Catuai cherries benefit from a temperate climate and beneficial coastal mist to ripen slowly, between June and October.

Harvested at full maturity, they are then processed using the methodpulped natural: the skin is removed, but some of the pulp remains on the grain during drying, allowing it to develop both sweetness and aromatic complexity. Dried on African beds, the grains are imbued with every nuance of the terroir.

In the cup, this coffee evokes indulgence: notes of caramel, biscuit, milk chocolate, and hazelnut, enhanced with a hint of lemon. A rounded, luminous cup that delicately reflects the richness of a region and the care of its producers. It has been rated 83.5 by the SCA.
